Senior Coach, Director of Coaching and Programs
Sandra is a national level (level 3 NCCP) coach with 44 years of experience. She has coached skaters to achieve well over 200 Gold Tests in all Skate Canada disciplines. She has coached Sectional level champions and National competitors in Singles and Ice Dance. She believes in the importance of all skating disciplines. She herself achieved Skate Canada Gold Level in Compulsory Figures, Freeskate, Dance, Skills and Artistic. Competitively, Sandra earned many medals in singles on the way to Senior National level and was named to the Senior National team, competing for Canada at an international level in 1978/79/80. These accomplishments were highlighted by her invitation to compete at Skat Canada International 1980. She earned a reputation for being one of the best spinners of her time.
As a coach, Sandra now has a special interest in grassroot edge development for all disciplines. She has participated many times over her career as a Clinic Conductor for the Skate Alberta Section, has completed the Special Olympics Course, and has also developed her own "Creative Edges" workshops. With her background in compulsory figures, she offers insight into figure form for skaters and mentoring coaches.

Angela runs our CanSkate programs and coaches both Learn to Figure and Starskate. She is also the administrator for the club. She has been with Centennial since 2005 and received her Regional Coaching Certification in 2012. She brings creativity and fun to the ice, and loves a Canskate theme day!

Shauna is a Certified Provincial Coach (NCCP Level 2) with 10 years coaching experience. She has a Bachelor of Physical Education from the U of A and is currently also a RMT. Shauna values the importance of strong basics and having fun!

Annika is a trained Regional Coach and has been coaching since 2019. She coaches private StarSkate, CanSkate and Learn to Figure Skate. Annika loves creating a fun and positive environment for the skaters to enjoy their skating session!

Adrianna is a Regionally certified coach as of 2025, but started as a program assistant about 8 years ago. She loves to see kids improving and reaching their goals, as well as seeing them having fun and enjoying skating. She also teaches the off-ice dance class on Fridays!

Caitlyn started her CanSkate coaching journey in 2023. She has been skating synchro for 20 years and has helped coach young teams for many years. With her positive attitude and bubbly personality, she loves to see kids having fun while learning how to skate!

Janine has been assisting for many years and is now a CanSkate coach (in training status). She has worked for over 15 years with children professionally and is very excited to share her love of skating with everyone who wants to learn. Her favourite discipline is Synchronized Skating, with 20 years of skating experience with Northern Lites SSC.

With over 8 years of experience coaching CanSkate and 3 years coaching StarSkate, Reegan is passionate about helping kids discover the joy of skating. She finds it truly rewarding to support the skaters growth, build their confidence, and inspire a lifelong love for the sport!

Elizabeth skated as a youth, then left the sport, but returned to it as an adult skater. She was the recipient of the 2025 Edmonton Region Program Assistant Award. She loves to help others whenever she can, sharing her love for the sport with everyone at the club!
Coach (on mat leave 2025-26)
Chelsea has been a certified Regional Skate Canada Coach since 2012. Her coaching specialty is CanSkate but she does occasionally coach StarSkate. Chelsea started as a program assistant at the age of 11. She enjoys teaching kids skating basics and preparing them for wherever skating takes them.
